Hello!
This is your invitation to enter a quilt for the annual WORLD QUILT COMPETITION. The American organisers have special shipping arrangements to make it easy for international contestants to enter and this is the fifteenth year that South Africa has taken part!
The deadlines do allow for quilts entered in the 2015 South African National Quilt Festival, to be entered in this year’s World Quilt Competition.
The minimum quilt size is 8,361 sq. cms. (multiply the length of the quilt by the width).
The competition has categories for both Traditional and Innovative quilts and there are prizes and cash awards to be won.
MAY 18, 2015 - is the deadline for me to receive your Entry Form.
JULY 7, 2015 - is the deadline for delivery of accepted quilts to me (I can collect your quilt at the Festival in Durban).
