General Meeting 21 May 2022

At this meeting all the proud Bloemshow members who won prizes, was awarded with prize money from our Guild as well.

The Sterkwilters group who entered the most quilts, were awarded with this beautiful trophy.

Christa Gouws won the Christa Gouws trophy for the most quilts entered by a member.

There were beautiful quilts on display as usual.

The tables were decorated with simple, yet gorgeous floral decorations.

After the meeting the members could attend two free demo's.  Freehand stitching and stitching with a double needle.

General meeting 26 February 2022

At our first meeting of the year, there was as usual lovely quilts on display.

Three vendors also attended the meeting.

Cecile Lombard of Quiltalk gave practical advice on what to do with all those left over bits and pieces.

Iessie Steenberg thanked Cecile with a basket packed with goodies.

As there is still Covid regulations in place, everybody adhered to the social distancing and the food was packed in individual containers.

This beautiful quilt was chosen as the viewer's choice for the day.
