The 3rd General Meeting of 2026 was held on the 22nd of August. It was hosted by the Needles and Pins and included a interesting presentation by Iessie Steenberg about quilting in general.
Chairperson Esta welcomed all
whilst the opening was conducted by the hosting group.
Doretha Jacobs injected some fun and games to the meeting.

Vendors for the day included Lemon Tree Fabrix
Iessie Steenberg brough along pre-packaged weaving sets and while she did her presentation the attendees weaved their items.
Judge Mari Strydom brought along her quilt which she entered at the recently concluded quilt festival. It won the Show and Tell's first prize
with Wilna Geel's entry for the same category at the festival, won 2nd prize.
Other quilts on display included a finished National Quilt Day 2026 quilt, the curved log cabin.
