With Youth Day being a public holiday in South Africa, it was the ideal day to promote quilting under our youth. Grandmothers with their grandkids were invited to a quilting day.
It was real heartwarming seeing the kids enjoying every step of the process and at the end of the morning they each had a project to be proud of as the photo's below clearly show.
We hope to make it an annual event to cultivate a love for quilting under our youth. Congratulations to all involved for making it a successful event.
