The Electric Quilt Company has an EQ Block of the Month competition running and you can take a look at it by clicking here.
This competition is not only for people with the EQ program but open to all quilters as you can download the PDF patterns (free). You can further decide which technique (rotary cutting, foundation piecing or templates) you’d like to use when making the block.
The block for January 2011 is called January Jumble and new block pattern will be posted at the beginning of each month. Make this month’s (and/or those there-after) block in any color you want and then all you have to do is to submit a photo of your block to webmaster@electricquilt.com before the deadline of 18 February 2011 (deadlines for other month’s blocks will be announced on the EQ blog).
The price for the January block is a Kaleidoscope Collection add-on CD.
